Psychological abuse is characterised by threats and behaviour that result in psychological trauma – for example: isolating you from friends and family, monitoring or stalking you, withholding information, mistreating pets, controlling what you are allowed to do and damaging your belongings and/or property, these can all leave you feeling traumatised, anxious, scared and depressed.

Spiritual abuse is a form of psychological abuse which manipulates and controls you by using your religious beliefs or spiritual beliefs.
